These Terms of Use govern your use of the official website of the documentary film 'Awakening' (the 'Site'). By using the Site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.
Purpose of the website
The Site presents the documentary film 'Awakening' — its trailer, story, participants, filmmakers, screenings and broadcasts, press materials and contact details — and offers ways to bring the film to new audiences and to support its screening campaign.
Permitted use
You may browse the Site and use its content for personal, non-commercial and lawful purposes.
- You may share links to the Site, and share content using the buttons the Site provides;
- You must not interfere with the operation or security of the Site, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or to any data;
- You must not use the Site in a way that infringes the rights of the filmmakers, of any person appearing in the film, or of any third party.
Copyright and intellectual property
The film 'Awakening' and all of its components — including footage, photographs, artwork, texts, music, logos, titles and press materials published on the Site — are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.
Those rights belong to Beyond Creative, to the filmmakers, and to their partners and broadcasters. All rights are reserved.
No unauthorised reproduction or commercial use
Without our prior written permission you may not copy, reproduce, download, distribute, broadcast, screen publicly, modify, or otherwise use any part of the film or of the Site's content for any purpose, and in particular for any commercial purpose.
- Short quotations of descriptive text for news or editorial coverage are permitted, provided the film and the Site are clearly credited;
- Press materials offered on the Site may be used for editorial and press coverage only, and not for advertising, promotion or any other commercial use without written permission.
Third-party websites and services
The Site links to and embeds content from third-party websites and services — for example YouTube videos, Google Forms registration pages, the donation page, news sites and social networks. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
Accuracy and availability of information
We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on the Site accurate and up to date, but screening dates, venues, times, links and other details may change, sell out or be cancelled at short notice. We do not guarantee that the Site will be available, uninterrupted or free of errors, and we may change, suspend or remove any part of it at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beyond Creative and the filmmakers will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from your use of the Site, from reliance on information published on it, or from any content or service of a third party reached through it.
Tickets, registrations and donations are handled by third parties under their own terms, and we are not responsible for those transactions. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Changes to the website and these terms
We may update the Site and these terms at any time. The version published on this page, with the date it was last updated, is the version in force.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Israel have jurisdiction over any dispute relating to the Site.
